I'm a little bit in love with the latest addition to my Etsy shop. This sweet embroidery pattern took me hours longer to finish than I anticipated. I unpicked the basket several times before I found the fill stitch I was happy with (I ended up using cushion stitch with alternating browns).
But now it's done and I'm so happy that I didn't settle for another stitch that I didn't like as much. You know that saying: "Anything worth doing is worth doing right" (Hunter S. Thompson)? It's true, dang it.
And despite how many times I feel, in the middle of a project, that I would be much happier just to have it finished and try to convice myself that the little mistakes are not that noticeable anyway, I'm always happier in the end if I do it right.
