Read and Reading

I loved You Learn By Living by Eleanor Roosevelt (click through and grab a couple free quote printables)

You can tell it's a good book when every other page has a sticky note attached.

More about what I've been reading lately here.

Listening

Still adoring podcasts over here.  Especially those aimed at women creative small business owners (it seems like a small niche, but there are surprisingly quite a lot out there.) I've been binge listening to episodes of Raise Your Hand. Say Yes.Smart Creative Women and Explore Your Enthusiasm.  Such inspiration for someone like me, who is just starting out pursuing a creative career.

Watching

Jason and I finished Lost last month.  All I can say is, "What?" We didn't watch much of it the first go around, so it was mostly all new to us. The ending left much to be desired.

We're on to White Collar and loving it.

I'm still watching Gilmore Girls while I iron, and it makes a dreaded task something I actually look forward to.  Our clothes are much less wrinkled now than they ever have been.

Also watching soccer and more soccer. It's that time of the year and little Ethan is more in love than ever.  He's so fun to watch! Though, yes, I may be a bit biased. Also, sometimes I worry Ethan is going to bite his tongue off (see photo above).

Favorite Instagram

I can't tell you how many times we've watched this little video.  Over and over and over, to say the least.

Things I love:

  • My beautiful sister was married this month. That makes puts all five Kindlespire (my maiden name) sisters in the blissfully wed category.  Little brother has a while yet (he's 16).
  • I recently switched to Digital Project Life and I L-O-V-E, love it.  More on that in the future.
  • Beautiful spring weather.  We've been spending hours outside, hiking, weeding, walking, it doesn't matter what we're doing.  I'm so happy to be (hopefully) done with snow and cold for a few months.
  • A new-to-us car, with room enough that kids can't touch each other.  It's heavenly!

Creating:

Still plugging away on my Year of Creative Habits challenge.  I haven't missed a day yet.  Though, I'll admit, sometimes I don't post a photo every day. Follow my progress on Instagram.

This Swirly Tree Hand Embroidery pattern is the newest addition to the shop.

Working on my goal to knit 20 hats for charity. Hoping to make a bunch of progress on this during some long drives over the next little bit.

On the Blog:

I began a new series about Art Journaling with Kids.  You can read about zentangle, Jackson Pollock, Vassily Kandinsky.

I'm joining Leigh Kramer today to share What I'm Into.
